HRH Crown Prince Receives Ministers
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, today urged all officials to assume their national responsibilities and use modern methods in executing vital projects in town and villages in order to build mutual trust between them and the citizens.
“We give top priority to the public interest and try hard to consolidate the principle of social equality in order to secure a better future for the people of Bahrain,” HRH Crown Prince said as he received at Al Riffa Palace today, in the presence of his son Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Housing Minister Dr. Majeed bin Mohsen Al Alawi, Energy Minister Dr. Abdul Hussein bin Ali Mirza, Municipalities and Urban Planning Minister Dr. Joma’a bin Ahmed Al Ka’abi, Works Minister Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf and Cabinet Affairs Minister Kamel bin Ahmed Mohammed.During the meeting, HRH Crown Prince stressed that urban projects should appeal to the citizens and be in harmony of the kingdom’s heritage, which, he affirmed, requires a modern projects’ management reflecting the Bahraini citizens’ capabilities in this regard.HRH Prince Salman also called for the need to allocate the right budgets that can cover the infrastructure projects across the kingdom.
On their part, the ministers took pride in the Royal trust bestowed upon them, reiterating their keenness to assume their national duties. They also hailed HRH Crown Prince’s call for dialogue that will engage all parties and groups in the kingdom for the sake of achieving national interests.The ministers also pledged to spare no effort to overcome all obstacles delaying the citizen-oriented projects in order to finalise them in due time and according to the required quality standards.Present were the CEO of the Economic Development Board (EDB) Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa and Head of HRH Crown Prince’s Court Shaikh Khalifa bin Daij Al Khalifa..
