UAE President meets HRH Crown Prince

UAE President Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan received today at Al Rawdha Palace, in Al Ain, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander.He welcomed the visit of HRH the Crown Prince to the UAE stressing solid relations between both countries. He underlined the UAE’s clear and constant stance towards Bahrain which he said ” has always been a dear brotherly country sharing with us our Islamic and social values as well as our aspirations for a better future to our generations.”

The UAE President underscored the role of mainly the youth in answering the genuine call of HRH the Crown Prince to all social factions to sit at the table of dialogue and come out with a decision that serves Bahrain’s reality and future as well as the Bahraini people.HRH the Crown Prince hailed the genuine brotherly feelings of Shaikh Khalifa which reflect deep-rooted historical relations fostered by both countries’ leaderships.

“Our call for dialogue stems from a deep belief in the Bahraini people’s capability to play a positive role in taking crucial decisions,” he said lauding participation in the reform project march and modernization programmes spearheaded by His Majesty King Hamad to turn Bahrain into a country functioning according to a developed political system.

“The modernization process is going on and will never stop and citizens will remain the cornerstone in comprehensive development schemes,” he added.Present at the meeting were Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Finance Minister Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Crown Prince Court Head Shaikh Khalifa bin Daij Al Khalifa, HRH Crown Prince’s Advisor Shaikh Ahmed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and Personal Secretary Shaikh Abdullah bin Isa Al Khalifa.
