Bahrain Is the Land of Tolerance and Co-existance, Says HRH Crown Prince

The reform march, anchored by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa since the inception of the National Action Charter, will continue un-wavered, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander today said.”The kingdom has always been  the land of tolerance, co-existance and rejection of sectarianism,” HRH Crown Prince affirmed, adding that “we all belong to this beloved nation, and our common asset is our cohesion and national unity.”

HRH Prince Salman was speaking as he received at Al Riffa Palace, in the presence of the Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Lord Astor of Hever.During the meeting, HRH Crown Prince lauded the historical Bahraini-UK ties which the two friendly countries are keen to regularly bolster them in all fields.On his part, Lord Astor praised the kingdom as a long-time ally to the UK, reiterating his country’s support for the multi-party dialogue launched by HM King Hamad, as a means to restore the country’s advanced position and progress.

He also asserted that the UK backs all initiatives taken by the kingdom’s leadership to safeguard the country from extremism and internal division, promote national unity and protect the legitimate ruling system advocated by the Bahraini people.Present were CEO of the Economic Development Board (EDB) Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Head of the Crown Prince’s Court Shaikh bin Daij Al Khalifa and the UK Ambassador to the Kingdom.
