HRH Crown Prince opens RVIS

Special concern attributed to education in Bahrain as a main pillar for development, in line with the royal directives, requires promoting efforts in this regard, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander asserted adding that education is one of the main strategic components of Bahrain Economic Vision 2030.  

He was speaking as he patronized today the official opening of Riffa Views International School (RVIS) in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa.

Educational reforms tune up with schemes to better the educational output through diversification of teaching methods in public and private schools, he said lauding educational criteria adopted by RVIS.

Arcapita Bank Chief Executive and RVIS Board of Trustees Chairman Atef Abdulmalik took pride in HRH the Crown Prince’s visit to the school pledging to take advantage of the school’s substantial resources and well-experienced staff to achieve forecast educational goals outlined in the Economic Vision 2030.

He also paid tribute to HRH the Crown Prince’s support stressing that the educational project mirrors required partnership between the public and private sectors.

RVIS Director Des Sjoquist highlighted the school’s up-to-date methods aiming to equip students with creative and analytical skills and tap on personal talents.

HRH the Crown Prince toured the school and got informed about its facilities, equipment and multi-purpose halls.

He also listened to an account by the Director on adherence to international educational benchmarks.

He hailed the large-scale use if IT to boost students’ learning potentials and upgrade their performances.
