HRH the Deputy King issues Decree (81) of 2022

The Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, today issued Decree (81) of 2022, restructuring the Board of Directors of the Education and Training Quality Authority (BQA), based on the proposal of the Deputy Prime Minister, and following the approval of the Cabinet.

According to the decree, BQA’s new Board of Directors shall be chaired by HE Hamad bin Faisal Al-Malki and comprise the following members:

1- Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed bin Hamad Al Khalifa
2- Yara Redha Faraj
3- Sarah Ishaq Hassan
4- Dr. Faisal Isa Hammad
5- Munther Abdullatif Al-Mudawi
6- Amer Hassan Marhoon
7- Dalal Iqbal Sangoor
The decree stipulates that the chairman and the first four members will serve for a four-year term, while the remaining members will serve for a three-year term.

The decree shall take immediate effect, and should be published in the Official Gazette.
