HRH the Deputy King meets with the Chairmen of the Municipal Councils and their deputies

The Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, today met with the Chairmen of the Municipal Councils, and their deputies, at Gudaibiya Palace. 

His Royal Highness highlighted the importance of building on Bahrain’s previous successes and achievements to support the Kingdom’s comprehensive development, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

His Royal Highness highlighted the shared responsibility to develop services offered to citizens and affirmed the government’s commitment to enhancing cooperation with the Municipal Councils to continue implementing government projects and initiatives.

For their part, the Chairmen of the Municipal Councils and their deputies expressed their appreciation for His Royal Highness’ commitment to supporting efforts that aid the Kingdom’s development and affirmed their dedication to achieving the Kingdom’s desired goals. 

The Deputy Prime Minister, HE Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture, HE Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, also attended the meeting.
