HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister thanks public sector employees and volunteers for their contribution to a successful Papal visit

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with a number of employees of the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, the Ministry of Information Affairs, public sector agencies, and the volunteer teams who participated in organising His Holiness Pope Francis’ historic official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at the Bahrain International Circuit.

 

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted that in line with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Kingdom of Bahrain continues to be a global beacon of compassion and harmony, through its wide-ranging initiatives to promote the values of peace and coexistence. 

 

His Royal Highness affirmed the importance of the historic visit of His Holiness Pope Francis, to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at the invitation of HM the King.

 

His Royal Highness extended the gratitude of HM the King to employees working within the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Justice and Islamic Affairs and Endowments, Ministry of Information Affairs and the volunteer teams for their efforts in organising HH the Pope’s visit.

 

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister also thanked the employees who ensured the Kingdom’s success in organising the visit and its accompanying global events.

 

His Royal Highness noted that the people of Bahrain continue to achieve and succeed in a multitude of areas due to their unwavering dedication, consistent with Bahraini values and a society built on togetherness, tolerance and coexistence. 

 

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister concluded by congratulating Team Bahrain for their continued generosity and selflessness, which has established the Kingdom’s reputation as a welcoming and diverse nation.

 

For their part, the employees expressed their appreciation for His Royal Highness’ comments, which inspires them to do even more for the Kingdom.

 

A number of senior officials also attended the meeting.
