HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister receives the President of the SCH and Chairman of the BOD of the Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalid Center for Parental Care

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today received the President of the Supreme Council of Health (SCH) and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalid Center for Parental Care, HE Lieutenant General Dr Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, who presented His Royal Highness with a copy of his book “Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalid .. Preacher, thinker and historian”, at Gudaibiya Palace.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister expressed his pride in the Bahraini citizens who have contributed to the Kingdom’s wide-ranging achievements.

His Royal Highness emphasised the importance of preserving the Kingdom’s historical legacy, by documenting its achievement, in line with its comprehensive development, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

The book presented to His Royal Highness follows the biography of the late Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalid Al Khalifa, including his achievements, which have positively influenced society.

His Royal Highness extended his gratitude to HE Lieutenant General Dr Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah for his effort to document the legacy and achievements of the late Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalid Al Khalifa and emphasised that the book is an important historical reference and is testament to the impact that the late Shaikh has left on the Kingdom.

For his part, the President of the SCH and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalid Center for Parental Care expressed his gratitude to His Royal Highness for his continued support of the documentation of the Kingdom’s history.

His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Charity Educational Endowment, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Infrastructure, HE Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, HE Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, and several senior officials also attended the meeting.
