HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister thanked for supporting a more robust business structure

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today received a cable of thanks from the Chairman of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), HE Sameer Abdulla Nass, who expressed this gratitude on behalf of the business and industrial community for HRH’s visit to the BCCI.

HE Nass commended His Royal Highness on the directives that will support the Kingdom’s comprehensive development, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

HE Nass noted that the visit reflects His Royal Highness’ commitment to constructive engagement with the business and investment community in Bahrain, which helps promote the development of the private sector.

The BCCI Chairman expressed gratitude to His Royal Highness for the directives announcing a set of new labour market reforms that will replace the Flexi Permits.

The changes will also provide a more robust structure to allow employers to have greater flexibility to pay and source labour, as well as promote the growth of the private sector, which sits at the heart of the Kingdom’s ongoing development.

HE Nass highlighted that His Royal Highness’ directives reflect a deep understanding of the national economy’s needs and provides an appropriate environment for the private sector to continue to lead the Kingdom’s economic development.
