HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister receives the Speaker of the Council of Representatives

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today received the Speaker of the Council of Representatives, HE Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, at Gudaibiya Palace. 

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s vision in guiding Team Bahrain’s efforts in supporting the Kingdom’s progress, which places citizens at the core of Bahrain’s development. 

His Royal Highness noted that the ongoing cooperation between the Executive and Legislative Authorities is a model of optimal teamwork and excellence, which supports the Kingdom’s continued development. 

His Royal Highness recognised the achievements yielded through cooperation between the Executive and Legislative authorities. In this regard, His Royal Highness thanked the members of the Legislative Authority for their cooperation throughout the fifth legislative term. 

His Royal Highness commended the pivotal role played by the Council of Representatives and parliamentary diplomacy in further strengthening Bahrain’s relations regionally and across the world. 

For her part, HE Zainal expressed her thanks and appreciation for His Royal Highness’ commitment to supporting the partnership between the Executive and Legislative authorities, which benefits citizens and residents. HE Zainal stressed the value of joint efforts in achieving the Kingdom’s comprehensive development goals, led by His Majesty the King. 

The Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and a number of senior officials also attended the meeting
