HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister receives the newly appointed ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today received the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Shaikh Ali bin Abdulrahman bin Ali Al Khalifa, at Riffa Palace to mark issuance of the Royal Decree appointing him head of Bahrain’s diplomatic mission to Saudi Arabia.
His Royal Highness reaffirmed the strong and historical connection that ties Bahrain and Saudi Arabia in partnership. Looking forward, the nations will endeavour to reach further levels of integration in a number of fields, with the support and commitment of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.
His Royal Highness congratulated Shaikh Ali bin Abdulrahman on his appointment, wishing him success in performing his duties, and to convey HRH’s greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Saudi Arabia.
For his part, Shaikh Ali bin Abdulrahman expressed his pride in the new appointment, as well as his gratitude for His Royal Highness’ commitment to support the diplomatic workforce at all levels.
The Chairman of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club High Committee, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and The Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Alzayani, also attended the meeting.
