HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets with the Secretary-General of the Inter-Parliamentary Union

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with the Secretary-General of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, Martin Chungong, at Gudaibiya Palace.

His Royal Highness stressed that Bahrain’s comprehensive development efforts, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, have made the country a model of success.

His Royal Highness welcomed Mr Chungonng and noted his efforts to achieve the Inter-Parliamentary Union’s goals.

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad emphasised the importance of strengthening cooperation with regional and international institutions in order to support Bahrain’s legislature.

The Secretary-General expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness, commended His Royal Highness’s commitment to strengthening international legislative cooperation, and wished Bahrain continued progress and growth.
