HRH the CP and PM receives the Undersecretary for Ports and Maritime Affairs, HE Shaikh Ahmed bin Isa bin Khalifa Al Khalifa

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with the Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, HE Eng. Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed, and the newly appointed Undersecretary for Ports and Maritime Affairs, HE Shaikh Ahmed bin Isa bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, at Riffa Palace.

His Royal Highness highlighted the Kingdom of Bahrain’s commitment to maximising opportunities for citizens, through new programmes, in line with the visions and ambitions of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

His Royal Highness noted Team Bahrain’s relentless dedicated efforts to achieve the priorities of the recently launched Economic Recovery Plan, boosting the development of priority sectors and enhancing overall growth.

His Royal Highness emphasised the importance of increasing Bahrain’s competitiveness through the elaborate creation and implementation of major development projects that support promising sectors, including the logistics sector. In this regard, His Royal Highness noted the Kingdom’s united national efforts and determination in implementing upcoming strategic projects.

His Royal Highness congratulated HE Shaikh Ahmed bin Isa on the issuance of the royal decree appointing HE as Undersecretary for Ports and Maritime Affairs at the Ministry of Communication and Telecommunications, and wished him success in his current endeavours.

For his part, HE Kamal bin Ahmed expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and noted HRH’s commitment to supporting the development of the Kingdom’s economic sectors, to benefit all.
