HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets HE Shaikh Khalifa bin Duaij Al Khalifa and HE Shaikh Salman bin Ahmed Al Khalifa

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with HE Shaikh Khalifa bin Duaij bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and HE Shaikh Salman bin Ahmed bin Salman Al Khalifa, at Riffa Palace.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister expressed his gratitude and appreciation to HE Shaikh Khalifa bin Duaij for his achievements as President of the Crown Prince’s Court, a position he has held since 2005. HRH the Crown Prince wished His Excellency success in his new advisory role following a Royal Order issued by HM King Hamad.

HRH the Crown Prince went on to wish HE Shaikh Salman bin Ahmed success in his new role as President of the Crown Prince’s Court, highlighting that the official handover will take place from 4 – 31 May 2021.

For his part, HE Shaikh Khalifa bin Duaij thanked HRH the Crown Prince for the honour of serving the Kingdom of Bahrain and its leadership for so many years as President of the Crown Prince’s Court and noted his pride in the confidence HM the King placed in him, as Advisor to HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

Later, HE Shaikh Salman bin Ahmed expressed deep gratitude for the opportunity to serve HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and the Kingdom of Bahrain as President of the Crown Prince’s Court. His Excellency added that realising the Kingdom’s comprehensive development goals, led by HM King Hamad, would be his highest priority in his new role.

HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, also attended the meeting.
