HRH Crown Prince issues Edict 31/2019

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today issued Edict 31/2019 on the issuance of the executive regulation of Law 37/2009 on diplomatic and consular corps.

The edict stipulates that the provisions of the executive regulation of Law 37/2009, shall be implemented, and that the Civil Service Law and its by-law will be applied.

It also stipulates that any text or rule conflicting the provisions of this edict will be abrogated.

The Foreign Minister shall implement the edict, which takes effect a day after its promulgation in the Official Gazette.
