The session discussed the categories of the GAP 2019-2022 as well as the policies and goals that would ensure the consolidation, development and sustainability of the services delivered by the government to the citizens within a secure and stable atmosphere.

GAP’s polices and goals also seek to maintain a positive economic growth within the framework of fiscal balance and optimal use of resources to ensure their sustainability for future generations.

Private sector’s role to be strengthened

The new government blueprint features several priorities, topped by strengthening the role of the private sector in order to be a key driving engine of development.

GAP aims to re-define the role of the public sector, improve the business environment, the investment atmosphere, and administrative governance.

Fiscal Balance among GAP’s ultimate goals

The new blueprint reflects the government’s ambitions and aspirations to achieve fiscal balance, continue enhancing economic growth, sustainability of the development progress and projects, improve services to citizens, the main pillar of development and its ultimate beneficiaries, and maintain the competitiveness of the Kingdom and its pivotal role as a financial and commercial hub.
