HRH Crown Prince appoints new board members of Economic Development Board
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and Chairman of the Economic Development Board (EDB) today issued Edict (No. 1/2018) appointing a new board of directors for the Bahrain Economic Development Board EDB, for the term 2018 – 2021.
The EDB board of directors, under HRH’s chairmanship, is as follows:
- HH Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa
- HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa
- HE Shaikh Khaled bin Abdulla Al Khalifa
- HE Hasan Abdulla Fakhroo (Deputy Chairman)
- HE Minister of Finance
- HE Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain
- HE Minister of Labour and Social Development
- HE Minister of Transport and Telecommunications
- HE Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism
- Chairman of Economic Affairs and Labour Fund (Tamkeen)
- Chief Executive Officer of the Economic Development Board
- Chairman of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce & Industry
- Mr. Farooq Yousif Al Moayed
- Mr. Saud Abdulaziz Kanoo
- Dr. Samer Majed Al Jishi
- Mr. Yousif Abdulla Ali Redha
