HRH CP: strong bonds across Bahraini society fostered principles of moderation and pluralism
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister this evening visited the Majlis of the Alarrayedh family and the Majlis of the Al Mudaifa and Al Rahma families.
HRH the Crown Prince praised the strong bonds that exist across Bahraini society, and stressed that it is these distinctive values and traditions that have fostered principles of moderation and pluralism
HRH the Crown Prince stressed the importance of continuing to uphold these values which have succeeded in protecting Bahraini society from attempts to create divisions while ensuring that development continues
HRH the Crown Prince highlighted the important role of the National Action Charter, which ushered in a new phase of development, led by HM King Hamad. HRH went on to note that the National Action Charter continues to drive the Kingdom’s development programme, including Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030
On the guiding principles that inform Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030, HRH the Crown Prince emphasised that competitiveness, sustainability and fairness are important components to meeting Bahrain’s ambitious development goals
HRH the Crown Prince highlighted the series of laws and policies introduced recently to facilitate private-sector-led growth as a key driver of the Kingdom’s economy and development
HRH the Crown Prince noted that Bahrain’s innovative economy and business environment has been instrumental to attracting investment into Bahrain. HRH highlighted that the Kingdom is targeting growth in tourism, manufacturing, logistics, IT and financial services sectors to facilitate international investment and create employment opportunities
HRH went on to note the role of the GCC Development Fund, which has been crucial to delivering projects, infrastructure and public services with long-term advantages for all Bahrainis
HRH the Crown Prince also added that the key priorities of the next phase of development, which were emphasised at the 2016 Government Forum, are vital to transitioning development goals into tangible results that directly benefit Bahrain’s citizens
HRH the Crown Prince reiterated Bahrain’s commitment to improving training and educational standards, stressing that supporting citizens’ interests remains the focal point of development efforts, and that Bahrain will continue to deliver high-value opportunities for its youth and women
