HRH Crown Prince meets UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior at the Bahrain F1 Grand Prix

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister this evening met the UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior His Highness Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir. 

His Highness Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed is visiting the Kingdom of Bahrain to attend the 2017 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix. The Deputy Prime Minister is accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation Board of Trustees, His Highness Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Chief of the Court of the Crown Prince, and His Highness Sheikh Omar bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation Board of Trustees.

His Royal Highness the Crown Prince highlighted the strong Bahrain-UAE ties that span across various areas. The Crown Prince also highlighted the UAE’s commitment to supporting Bahrain’s F1 race, and noted the importance of continuing to collaborate on advancing motorsports across the region to deliver spectacular sporting events. 

His Royal Highness the Crown Prince went on to add that such events, in particular the F1 Grand Prix, are testament to the region’s experience in planning and collaborating with international business and cultural organisations.
