HRH CP meets Ambassador Stuart Jones
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today met Ambassador Stuart Jones, Acting US Assistant Secretary of State in the State Department’s Near East Affairs Bureau, at Riffa Palace.
During the meeting, His Royal Highness underscored the importance of strengthening cooperation among key international partners to support and advance regional development goals to drive long-term stability.
In this regard, His Royal Highness also stressed the importance of enhancing Bahrain’s strategic partnership with the US in order to address the myriad of challenges facing the region.
The Crown Prince went on to welcome Ambassador Jones and his participation in the biannual American Chamber of Commerce Regional Forum, noting that the gathering plays a key role in promoting economic and trade partnerships with the US.
His Royal Highness then reaffirmed Bahrain’s commitment to working closely with the US around shared interests, including defence and security to advance regional and international stability.
A range of regional and international developments, in addition to the agenda of the biannual Forum were also reviewed during the meeting.
His Highness Shaikh Mohamed bin Salman Al Khalifa, son of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince also attended the meeting
