HRH Crown Prince begins visit to UAE
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today arrived in the United Arab Emirates for an official visit, which will include a bilateral meeting with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE’s Armed Forces, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The visit focusses on bolstering collaboration and cooperation between the two countries.
Upon arrival, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, who was accompanied by the Representative of His Majesty King Hamad for Charity and Youth Affairs, President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, and a number of senior Bahraini ministers and officials, was received by the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE’s Armed Forces, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
In a statement, the Crown Prince highlighted that he was delighted to conduct the visit as it reflects the longstanding and deep ties between Bahrain and the UAE.
His Royal Highness also highlighted that His Majesty King Hamad has and continues to play a pivotal role in fostering and strengthening bilateral ties and cooperation with the UAE and GCC partners. The Crown Prince also stressed Bahrain’s commitment to further supporting intra-regional collaboration to help achieve long term prosperity and opportunity across the region.
His Royal Highness the Crown Prince concluded by highlighting the UAE’s achievements in advancing development, which continues to receive international and regional recognition.
