HRH CP & HRH The Prince of Wales review impressive achievements of Bahrain’s youth
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister and His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales today visited the Bahrain National Museum, during which they reviewed impressive achievements by Bahrain’s youth.
The event included discussions with entrepreneurs who have been supported by Bahrain’s Labour Fund (Tamkeen) and a tour around the Spitfire exhibition and workshops that showcase the innovative and creative work of Bahrain’s local schools.
The event also included a reception for young leaders representing leading fellowship programmes established in Bahrain and the UK, including the Office of the First Deputy Prime Minister as well as John Smith and Windsor organisations. The reception also hosted the Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Programme (CPISP) graduates from leading British universities.
During the event, the Crown Prince highlighted that Bahrain has consistently prioritised investment in citizens’ futures, and that Bahrain’s youth will continue to play a crucial role in driving the country’s long-term development.
His Royal Highness also highlighted that Bahrain’s longstanding sustainable development programme acknowledges and recognises the importance of equipping young people with innovative development skills.
The Crown Prince went on to note that this commitment is evidenced by a range of initiatives, such as Tamkeen, which plays a pivotal role in supporing businesses and entrepreneurs in the Kingdom; and, the Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Programme, which provides merit-based scholarships to Bahraini students from a diverse range of backgrounds to study at leading universities in Europe and North America
The Crown Prince concluded by highlighting that such initiatives help to inspire and challenge the Kingdom’s youth to make a positive contribution to the development of Bahrain’s economy.

The Minister-in-attendace His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Education Minister, His Excellency Dr. Majid Al-nuaimi, and President of the Bahrain Authority for Cultural and Antiquities, Her Excellency Shaikha May bint Mohammed Al Khalifa were also in attendance.
