HRH Crown Prince receives newly appointed Korean Ambassador

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today met the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Park Ho, at Riffa Palace. 

His Royal Highness highlighted the Kingdom’s ambition to deepen bilateral trade and economic relations with countries across Asia, underlining the important role they could play in helping Bahrain achieve its sustainable development goals. The Crown Prince noted that stronger partnerships would help boost the economy, generate economic competitiveness, and attract foreign direct investment.

His Royal Highness remarked on the strength of relations and cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and South Korea, noting that they had grown steadily over the years through various bilateral visits and agreements, which had facilitated the expansion of trade between the two countries.

The Crown Prince welcomed the newly appointed Ambassador and wished him every success in his endeavours, adding that the Kingdom was committed to supporting the Ambassador in the performance of his diplomatic duties. 

His Royal Highness went on to note that the constructive relationship between Bahrain and South Korea contributes to the enhancement of bilateral cooperation in a range of fields, including economic and cultural, as well as generating investments which could benefit both countries.

The Ambassador of Korea expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness and for His Royal Highness’ continued support to Bahraini-Korean relations, as well as his desire to enhance bilateral cooperation.
