HRH CP: Introduction of 31 laws will advance Bahrain’s sustainable development
His Royal Highness, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, this evening visited the Majlis of Nabeel bin Yaqoob Al Hamar, Advisor of Media Affairs to His Majesty the King and the Majlis of Abdullah bin Hamad Al Noaimi.
During the majlis visits, the Crown Prince highlighted that the recent enactment of 31 laws, purposely-designed to further enhance Bahrain’s economic environment and regulatory frameworks, forms a key part of His Majesty’s commitment to the Kingdom’s long-term diversification and sustainability efforts.
The Crown Prince also highlighted the extensive collaboration between the Legislative and Executive authorities in developing these new laws, which have resulted in significant improvements across a range of areas, including processes and procedures related to urban development.
The Crown Prince went on to note that a key priority for the coming period is to strengthen the private sector’s role in driving economic growth, while the Kingdom works in parallel to transform the public sector’s role into a dynamic regulator.
The Crown Prince went on to emphasise the importance of continuing to develop strategies that promote innovation across a range of sectors in order to create high quality opportunities for Bahrain’s youth, a strategic goal of Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030. The Crown Prince also highlighted His Majesty’s long-standing commitment to Bahrain’s youth development programme, which continues to provide wide-ranging skills development and opportunities for all young Bahrainis.
The Crown Prince then stressed the important role Bahrain’s youth will play in advancing the Kingdom’s economic diversification and sustainability, and representing the Kingdom’s progress abroad.
The Crown Prince concluded by highlighting that a series of public, private, and GCC investment projects are currently in the pipeline, and which will demonstrate the wide potential and positive effects that public-private partnerships can have on Bahrain’s economy.
The majlis hosts and guests expressed their gratitude for the Crown Prince’s visit, and highlighted his commitment to supporting and developing high quality opportunities for Bahrain’s youth.
