Deputy King meets Bahrain – UK friendship society
Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, today received a delegation from the Bahrain-United Kingdom Friendship Society, which was led by Mr Peter Sincock, at Riffa Palace.
During the meeting, the Deputy King highlighted the longstanding ties between Bahrain and the UK, adding that the two countries have aligned their policy positions on various issues and that it is crucial to continue strengthening relations across all sectors.
In this regard, His Royal Highness emphasised the importance placed by His Majesty King Hamad and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the 200th anniversary of Bahrain-UK relations, which demonstrates the strength of the bilateral relationship.
The Deputy King also underscored the importance of exchange visits in further reinforcing these ties, and stressed the importance of the role played by various organisations and institutions in further developing relations.
His Royal Highness also praised the activities and the programmes the Bahrain-United Kingdom Friendship Society has participated in and initiated.
