HRH Crown Prince meets a delegation of US Congressmen

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today met a delegation of United States Congressmen led by Representative Michael McCall, at Riffa Palace.

During the meeting, the Crown Prince and the Congressmen discussed a range of shared Bahrain-US interests and a number of regional developments.

His Royal Highness highlighted the importance of the joint work carried out by both countries, which is underpinned by longstanding strategic relations.

In this regard, the Crown Prince reaffirmed Bahrain’s commitment to bolstering coordination and cooperation in all areas, including efforts to align regional and international efforts to combat all forms of terrorism and eliminate radical ideologies.

The meeting also covered ways in which relations and cooperation could be further strengthened, with a particular focus on securing lasting stability and security in the region.
