HRH Crown Prince meets Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, this evening met The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, at his residence in Turkey.
His Royal Highness conveyed His Majesty King Hamad’s greetings to The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Majesty’s wishes for continued prosperity in Saudi Arabia.
The Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques extended his best wishes to His Majesty King Hamad and to the people of Bahrain.
His Royal Highness praised the leading role Saudi Arabia plays, under the leadership of King Salman, in increasing cooperation amongst Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the longstanding support it has offered to Bahrain.
The meeting also presented an opportunity for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness to discuss regional developments and the countries’ shared priorities, as well as the OIC Islamic Summit agenda and their hopes for beneficial outcomes.
The Deputy Prime Minister, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa attended the meeting.
