HRH Crown Prince congratulates Shaikh Khalid on MMA title

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, sent a cable to the First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport and President of the Bahrain Athletics Association Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa following the success of the kingdom, represented by the Khalid bin Hamad MMA (KHK MMA)’s professional fighter Frankie Edgar, to clinch the title of the UFC-TUF 22, held earlier today in Las Vegas.

HRH the Crown Prince congratulated Shaikh Khalid on the world title, noting that the landmark achievement reflect his dedicated efforts to upgrade the youth and sport movement in the kingdom.

HRH Crown Prince wished Shaikh Khalid and the KHK MMA team further success.
