HRH Crown Prince meets British Ambassador
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today met Iain Lindsay, Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Bahrain at Riffa Palace, to mark the end of the Ambassador’s service in the Kingdom.
During the meeting, His Royal Highness highlighted the strategic ties between the two countries which he emphasised are based on cooperation across a range of sectors. In this regard, His Royal Highness noted the high level of coordination between Bahrain and the UK on significant regional and international issues.
His Royal Highness went on to praise the British Ambassador’s efforts in further supporting bilateral cooperation, and underscored the potential benefits of future collaboration between both countries. His Royal Highness then extended his gratitude to the British Ambassador, wishing him every success in his future endeavors. His Royal Highness and the British Ambassador then discussed a range of topics of both regional and international significance.
The British Ambassador expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness, and expressed his appreciation for the support given to him throughout his time in the Kingdom. Ambassador Lindsay thanked His Royal Highness for his support in further strengthening relations between Bahrain and the UK, and wished the Kingdom every success as it pursues its path of development and prosperity.
