HRH Crown Prince meets Chairman, CEO and board members of Bahrain Association of Banks

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today met the newly appointed Board of Directors of the Bahrain Association of Banks (BAB), headed by Chairman Mr Abdul Razaq Al Qassim, at Gudaibiya Palace.

His Royal Highness extended congratulations to the newly appointed BAB Board of Directors on their appointments, and noted the support the association provides to the banking sector in the Kingdom through organising important banking conferences and forums. His Royal Highness then highlighted the role of the banking and financial sectors in driving economic growth.

Noting the continued increase in financial institutions within the Kingdom, His Royal Highness expressed his appreciation for national efforts and contributions to enhancing Bahrain’s banking and financial sectors, and further highlighted the Kingdom’s commitment to reinforcing its position as a business and investment hub within the region. His Royal Highness also went on to praise Bahrain’s strong and transparent regulatory environment.

Mr Al-Qassim and the Board of Directors expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to meet His Royal Highness, and expressed appreciation for His Royal Highness’s continued support to BAB and the banking sector in the Kingdom.
