HRH Crown Prince meets Chairman of BNP Paribas Group

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today met Chairman of BNP Paribas Group, Jean Lemierre at Riffa Palace.

HRH Crown Prince highlighted the role played by financial and investment institutions in bolstering bilateral relations, adding that the continued progress of BNP Paribas in the Kingdom reflects the strength of ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of France.

HRH Crown Prince emphasised the significant role of Bahrain’s banking and financial sectors in driving economic growth and supporting various development programmes. He highlighted that the financial sector is an important component of Bahrain’s labour market.

Jean Lemierre expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet HRH Crown Prince, stressing Bahrain’s strategic location and its role in attracting regional and international finance and banking companies.

Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain, Rasheed Al-Miraaj, also attended the meeting.
