Crown Prince receives US Ambassador

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today met the Ambassador of the United States to the Kingdom of Bahrain, His Excellency William Roebuck, at Gudaibiya Palace.

During the meeting, His Royal Highness noted that bilateral cooperation between the two countries continues to see steady growth, and highlighted the importance of further developing ties within the trade and investment sectors, as they serve the strategic goals and interests of both countries.

The meeting also presented an opportunity for His Royal Highness and the US Ambassador to discuss regional developments, and the countries’ shared priorities of combatting all forms of terrorism and promoting peace and security across the region and wider world.

In response, the US Ambassador expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness, and noted the importance of further developing relations between the two countries.

The Deputy Prime Minister, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, also attended the meeting.
