Crown Prince meets new Russian Ambassador to Bahrain

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today met His Excellency Vagif Garaev, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at Riffa Palace.

During the meeting, His Royal Highness highlighted the steady growth of bilateral relations between Bahrain and the Russian Federation, and noted the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts to develop ties across various sectors.

His Royal Highness went on to welcome Ambassador Garaev to Bahrain, wishing him every success as he takes up his new post, and expressed his full support to the further strengthening of ties between the two countries. 

His Royal Highness and the Ambassador then reviewed a number of key regional and international issues.

For his part, the Russian Ambassador expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness, and welcomed His Royal Highness’ interest and support in further enhancing relations between Bahrain and the Russian Federation.
