Crown Prince received by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in Riyadh
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud today received His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince of Bahrain, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, His Excellency Sheikh Nasser bin Abdulla Al Thani, Prime Minister of Qatar, and His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed Al Khaled Al Subah, Deputy Prime Minister of Kuwait.
The meeting took place at Al Ouja Palace and covered a number of areas of mutual interest and regional importance. During the meeting, His Royal Highness conveyed His Majesty King Hamad’s sincere wishes to His Majesty King Salman for the further prosperity of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
His Royal Highness praised the prominent role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in promoting a unified Gulf Countries Council (GCC).
His Royal Highness went on to highlight the efforts of King Salman in aligning views on Arab and Islamic causes, in order to take the appropriate approach to tackle issues that affect the security and stability of the region and wider world.
During the visit, His Royal Highness also attended a banquet hosted by King Salman for senior officials. His Royal Highness was accompanied by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Guard, His Excellency Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, His Excellency Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqer Al Noaimi, Chief of Staff and His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Director General of the First Deputy Prime Minister Office.
Upon his arrival, His Royal Highness was received by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdul-Aziz, Deputy Crown Prince, Second Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul-Aziz, Minister of Defence, Chief of the Royal Court and Private Advisor to King Salman, and His Excellency Shaikh Humood bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Saudi Arabia.
