Crown Prince meets Group CEO of LGT Group Foundation

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today met the Chief Executive of LGT Group, His Serene Highness Prince Maximilian Von Und Zu Liechtenstein, at Gudaibiya palace.

During the meeting, His Royal Highness highlighted that Bahrain’s ongoing economic reform has created a robust and resilient economy, which is both diversified and tailored to international investment.

His Royal Highness then highlighted the significant role of the financial sector in developing Bahrain’s economy, emphasising that Bahrain’s strategic location and competitive environment is key to attracting large financial firms.

His Royal Highness added that these advantages have helped large financial firms to diversify their investment products in the Kingdom. His Royal Highness welcomed the Group’s interest in expanding its financial operations in the Kingdom including Islamic banking and finance.

His Royal Highness and Prince Maximilian discussed ways to further expand the Group’s operations within the Kingdom and across the region. His Royal Highness and Prince Maximilian went on to discuss broader relations between Bahrain and Liechtenstein, highlighting the importance of further developing ties between the two countries, particularly within the economic sphere.

In response, Prince Maximilian expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, and highlighted his interest in further bolstering economic ties between Bahrain and Liechtenstein.
