HRH the Crown Prince calls for independent audit of government’s response to meat imports

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today addressed the recent cases of spoiled meat, which entered the Kingdom, and highlighted the need for the swift completion of an independent audit detailing the government’s steps to tackle recent cases of spoiled meat.

His Royal Highness further added that the report should detail effective ways to prevent such violations from occurring in the future. 

Furthermore, His Royal Highness stressed the need for the government to promptly address all health-related violations, which compromise the public’s safety and to identify appropriate measures to redress them quickly and efficiently.
