HRH the Crown Prince meets Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Air Force

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today met Lieutenant General Viktor Bondarev, Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Air Force, at Gudaiybia Palace.

During the meeting, His Royal Highness emphasised the growing ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Russian Federation across a range of sectors, in light of the positive outcomes achieved by recent visits of senior officials to both countries.

His Royal Highness went on to highlight the importance of defence cooperation between the two countries, and discussed the need to maintain security and stability in the region, an area of mutual interest to both Bahrain and Russia.

For his part, the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Air Force extended his appreciation and thanks to His Royal Highness, and expressed his hope for the ongoing development of bilateral relations between the two countries.

His Excellency Major General Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Jalahma, Minister of Defence Affairs also attended the meeting.
