Crown Prince attends CPISP graduation ceremony
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today attended the graduation ceremony of the Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Programme (CPISP) at Riffa Palace.
During the ceremony, His Royal Highness emphasised that investing in Bahraini citizens is top priority in accordance with the aspirations of His Majesty King Hamad, and highlighted the graduates from the CPISP as excellent examples of the Bahrainis’ educational attainment and as positive international ambassadors for the Kingdom.
His Royal Highness went on to express his pride in accomplishments of the graduates, noting that it demonstrated how deserving they were to have the support and assistance from CPISP to achieve their ambitions, which are in line with Bahrain’s development drive.
His Royal Highness went on to say that the ceremony was a moment to be proud of the achievements by Bahrain’s youth and to reflect on the service they can provide to their nation. He pointed to the students’ efforts and hard work to attain these successes. His Royal Highness also spoke of his desire to see more promising youths achieve such successes to help build the nation’s future and he urged them all to maintain the spirit of creativity, coexistence and interaction with their colleagues and surroundings.
His Royal Highness further expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the students and commended their efforts throughout their time in education, noting that they are role models for those who will follow them.
Addressing the graduates, His Royal Highness noted this day was a pinnacle that their university studies had led to; years that were full of accomplishments and knowledge gained. His Royal Highness assured the graduates that Bahrain had been looking forward to receiving the returning graduates, with their skills and knowledge gained from prestigious international universities, to serve the development and advancement of the nation.
His Royal Highness praised the constant efforts of CPISP’s sponsors and their contributions to realising the Programme’s objectives and aspirations. His Royal Highness also praised the exemplary work by the CPISP officials in preparing the Programme’s plans and activities, especially those aimed at developing leadership skills.
His Royal Highness concluded by expressing his special thanks to the parents of students who have encouraged their children to study and seek knowledge towards high achievements and certifications.
Following his speech, His Royal Highness presented graduation certificates to all the CPISP students.
