Crown Prince receives Egyptian People’s diplomatic delegation
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, stressed solid relations between Bahrain and Egypt and both countries’ keenness to further enhance them at the official and popular levels.
He was speaking as he received at Riffa Palace today The Egyptian People’s diplomatic delegation which comprised an elite of political, cultural, literary, art, press and media figures.
HRH the Crown Prince lauded Egypt’s support to the Arab issues, hailing the Egyptian delegation’s visit to Bahrain being a reflection of strong brotherly ties binding both countries..
On their part, the Egyptian delegation expressed appreciation and thanks for Bahrain’s support to Egypt and HRH the Crown Prince’s keenness to further bolster bilateral relations. They also congratulated Bahrain on its celebrations of its National Days on December 16 and 17, the anniversary of the establishment of the modern state of Bahrain as an Arab and Muslim country in 1783 by its founder Ahmed Al-Fateh, the 42nd Anniversary of its accession to the UN as a full member and the 14th Anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s Accession to the Throne. They wished Bahrain more progress and prosperity.
