Crown Prince meets UK Chief of the General Staff

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today met the United Kingdom’s Chief of the General Staff, Sir Peter Anthony Wall, at Gudaibiya Palace.

During the meeting His Royal Highness highlighted the positive developments in the relationship between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom across military and defence areas, emphasising that the visibly enhanced bilateral relationship has been possible due to the longstanding ties the two countries share.

His Royal Highness praised this relationship and empahsised Bahrain’s commitment to further enhancing this close coordination and collaboration.

His Royal Highness went on to stress the importance of such high-level visits in strengthening the relationship and coordination across all areas. His Royal Highness and General Sir Peter further discussed the key regional and international issues.

For his part, General Sir Peter expressed his gratitude to His Royal Highness for all his efforts in developing the UK-Bahrain relationship, and also highlighted the Kingdom’s role in supporting work to maintain stability in the region.
