HRH Crown Prince meets Saudi Foreign Minister

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today met Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on the sidelines of the Third Arab African Summit, hosted at Bayan Palace in Kuwait on November 19 and 20.

His Royal Highness expressed his pride in the long and deep-rooted relations between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, noting in particular Saudi Arabia’s longstanding support for Bahrain. His Royal Highness praised the leading role played by Saudi Arabia, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in working within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and furthering its development.His Royal Highness Crown Prince welcomed Saudi Arabia’s support for Arab and Islamic countries, and its dedication to championing their causes and aspirations at an international level.

His Royal Highness Prince Salman also conveyed to Prince Saud Al-Faisal greetings from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain, to the leadership of Saudi Arabia. During their meeting they discussed the steadily growing bilateral cooperation between the two countries, in addition to the main issues on the agenda of the Arab-African Summit.
