Deputy King meets UK Minister for Defence Equipment Philip Dunne

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Deputy of His Majesty the King and Crown Prince, met at the Riffa Palace today the UK Minister for Defence Equipment, Support and Technology, Philip Dunne MP and his accompanying delegation. His Royal Highness welcomed Mr. Dunne and the delegation, and praised the advanced level of bilateral relations between the UK and Bahrain, in particular the UK’s support for the steps undertaken by Bahrain to sustain security and stability.

His Royal Highness also emphasised that Bahrain is committed to further enhancing bilateral relations with the UK across all sectors, including military coordination and defence cooperation. Mr. Dunne highlighted the areas of cooperation between the UK’s Ministry for Defence and Bahrain, and Britain’s interest in further developing these ties.
