HRH Crown Prince receives President of the Constitutional Court
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today received the President of the Constitutional Court, Mr. Salem Mohammed Al Kuwari, and members of the court, at Riffa Palace. His Royal Highness noted the important role of the Constitutional Court in its contributions to reinforcing the fundamental principles of the rule of law, justice, and respect for the constitution.
His Royal Highness also underscored his support for enhancing the Court’s independence and ensuring its responsibilities are exercised in a manner that maximises their impact as part of the continuing reforms led by His Majesty the King.His Royal Highness also stated the importance of highlighting the Constitutional Court’s role in maintaining rights and reforms, which supports the Kingdom’s development.
His Royal Highness also expressed his hope that the Constitutional Studies Journal, the first issue of which was presented to him at the meeting, would contribute to this goal by communicating the achievements of the Court and presenting key studies and research on constitutional and legal fields.
