Deputy King receives the Commander of the US Fifth Fleet

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Deputy of His Majesty the King, Crown Prince met Vice Admiral John W. Miller, Commander of the US Naval Forces Central Command and the US Fifth Fleet, at Riffa Palace today. The meeting reviewed the strong bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America, noting the advanced levels of cooperation in various fields, particularly military and defence.

His Royal Highness and Vice Admiral Miller also reviewed regional developments, highlighting the US role in maintaining regional and international peace and stability. Vice Admiral Miller noted the importance of cooperation between the two countries and the positive effect on furthering military coordination.
