HRH Crown Prince Meets UK Ambassador to Bahrain
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today met the UK Ambassador to Bahrain, Iain Lindsay, at Riffa Palace. During their meeting, His Royal Highness highlighted the importance of continually seeking to develop external relations, under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad, as part of wider efforts to promote growth and boost the Kingdom’s status through positive partnerships.
His Royal Highness added that relations with the United Kingdom are an essential element of Bahrain’s foreign relations, noting the continued strengthening of strategic bilateral cooperation and coordination across many areas. His Royal Highness also discussed the recent meeting in London between His Majesty King Hamad and UK Prime Minister David Cameron, stating that it was a further example of the solid relations between the two countries, and a source of support for the Kingdom of Bahrain as it maintains its focus on achieving further reform and development in order to meet the aspirations of the people of Bahrain. In addition, a number of regional and international events were discussed during the meeting.
