HRH Crown Prince Meets UK and US Ambassadors

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today met at the Gudaibiya Palace with the Ambassadors of United Kingdom and the United States to Bahrain Iain Lindsay and Thomas Krajeski.

His Royal Highness emphasised Bahrain’s continuing approach of integrating decisions based on consensus into the reform and development process initiated by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. His Royal Highness highlighted the Kingdom’s dedication to maintaining and developing its relations with its allies in support of shared interests. The meeting also focused on the results of His Royal Highness’ recent visits to the UK and the US, which had positive impacts on cooperation and bilateral relations across several sectors.

His Royal Highness went on to express his satisfaction for the support shown by both countries for Bahrain’s efforts to achieve greater success in its development, and emphasising the importance of rejecting violence and achieving positive results through the National Consensus Dialogue as initiated by His Majesty the King. For their parts, the ambassadors emphasised their countries’ interests in supporting Bahrain through boosting bilateral relations and cooperation across all sectors.
