Crown Prince visits King Abdulaziz Foundation

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister visited the King Abdulaziz Foundation in Riyadh today.

During a tour of the cultural institution, His Royal Highness was briefed on how the Foundation documents the different historical phases of Saudi Arabia, the role of the King Abdulaziz Al Saud – the founder of the modern Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – and the country’s historical position as a meeting point with other civilizations engaging with the Arabian Gulf.

His Royal Highness praised the foundation’s efforts in highlighting the role played by King Abdulaziz in unifying Saudi Arabia, laying the foundations of the modern state, and its development into one of the most influential players regionally and internationally across politics, economics and culture.

His Royal Highness also noted that the foundation’s documentation of history, geography, literature, and valuable documents and manuscripts, in addition to the access it provides for research, studies and seminars, were of great value to scholars and others interested in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the wider region.
