Crown Prince welcomes guests to Bahrain at F1 dinner

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad AlKhalifa, Deputy of His Majesty the King, Crown Prince welcomed guests of the Kingdom attending the 2013 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix.

He expressed his pleasure at the gathering and the positive engagement by Bahrain and its people with the event at the circuit today. Speaking at the dinner banquet hosted for senior guests of the event at the Shaikh Hamad Palace inGhudaibiya, His Royal Highness said that many of them have witnessed the growth of Formula One in the Middle East and Bahrain.

He thanked the encouragement and support, which have driven this success of the sport in the region, noting how Formula One embodied the spirit of human ambition, ingenuity and achievement. His Royal Highness said Bahrain took pride in the leading role it has taken in the growth in popularity ofFormula One in the region, underpinned by the hard,devoted work of its people.
