HRH Crown Prince Arrives In India

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister arrived in Kerala, India, yesterday.

His Royal Highness was greeted upon arrival at Cochin International Airport by Oommen Chandy, Chief Minister of Kerala; His Excellency Dr Mohan Kumar, Indian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain; Mohamed Ghassan Shaikho, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Republic of India, and a number of government officials and business delegates from the state of Kerala.

His Royal Highness’ business tour to the state of Kerala seeks to enhance business links between Bahrain and India, notably in the economic and commercial sectors.His Royal Highness is accompanied by:

Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohamed Al Khalifa, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Kamal Ahmed, Minister of Transport and Acting Chief Executive of the Bahrain Economic Development Board; Shaikh Mohamed bin Essa Al Khalifa, Political and Economic Advisor to HRH the Crown Prince; Shaikh Khalifa bin Daij Al Khalifa, President of the Crown Prince Court of Bahrain; Shaikh Ahmed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Advisor to HRH the Crown Prince; along with a delegation from the Bahrain Economic Development Board and Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry; and representatives from the private sector.
