Crown Prince Meets 2013 CPISP Scholars
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister welcomed this year’s recipients of the Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Program (CPISP) today at Riffa Palace.
Expressing his pride in the calibre of this year’s selected students, His Royal Highness urged them to take full advantage of the opportunities the program offers in providing the skills and experience to compete in global economy and in laying a foundation for future success.
His Royal Highness congratulated all the students on the hard work and commitment, remarking that their selection to the CPISP was a distinctive recognition of their talent and effort.His Royal Highness noted that there will be challenges set for them all as they undertake their placements, but expressed his confidence that all recipients will meet these with great accomplishment. He counseled them all that their work during the next year will be important in building their experience and helping to prepare them to be leaders in society and as part of the national workforce.
His Royal Highness also paid tribute to the parents and guardians of all the recipients, pointing to the efforts in bringing their children to this point and upon which the CPISP program seeks to build.In conclusion, His Royal Highness thanked the sponsors of the CPISP and their significant contribution to the success of the program now in its 14th year. Since its inception in 1999, the CPSIP has awarded 136 scholarships to students from across Bahraini society.
